Initial Consult with Treatment Coordinator

When you first arrive at our modern office space, think stylish coffee shop meets high-tech orthodontics, you’ll be brought into our private consultation rooms where the conversations begin. (Don’t worry, you will get a full tour of the office and our amazing adult wing later!)

We want to hear it all, like what’s bugging you about your smile, what you are hoping to achieve, and if you or your child has any questions about orthodontics. This is time to spill everything in a 100% judgment-free zone! 

Once you are settled in and comfy, we will walk you through all that Mint Ortho has to offer. We’re talking Invisalign, LightForce braces, RETAIN, and more. You and your family will learn about each option, why they exist, and which ones might make the most sense for your specific situation. Once our treatment coordinators have talked through all the essential information and Mint must know items, we move to diagnostic records. This is where we start to document your smile with our cutting-edge technologies that make the whole process smooth and efficient.

  • To capture every angle of your smile. 
• X-rays of your mouth

Clinical Evaluation

Now that we’ve quickly gathered all the photos and scans we need (it’s faster than it sounds!), it’s time to meet Dr. Sudit!

Dr. Sudit performs a comprehensive orthodontic exam that includes evaluating your bite, assessing the crowding or spacing of your teeth, and analyzing your jaw alignment. He’ll review the x-rays taken and iTero scan that you took during the diagnostic records portion of your exam, with you in real time. You’ll see exactly what we see, when we see it. 

Once the evaluation is complete, Dr. Sudit shares his clinical findings and possible treatment recommendations along with his estimated timeline based solely on your goals.

Treatment Plan Discussion

During the treatment plan discussion, your treatment coordinator and Dr. Sudit will discuss treatment options and explain why they may recommend one approach over another. Some treatment options are better suited for your specific needs, and we’ll work closely with you to customize a plan that makes the most sense. Our goal is to make sure you get the care you want, need, and deserve, with our guidance every step of the way.  

We’ll talk about treatment durations and discuss any special options that may be available to you, including nighttime treatment or accelerated orthodontics. We know your life doesn’t stop for orthodontics, so we work with your schedule.
